We do have some policies, not my favorite thing, so I have done my best to make them light hearted and easy going: )

• Yes, we do have a three night minimum on the main house.. $35.00 extra per night per room for an additional adult.

• We also have reasonable priced rental cars, just inquire upon booking:).

• We require a non refundable deposit, or payment in full prior for some of our out of country agents or extended stays.  The deposit or pre payment may be used for a future stay to reserve your room, The deposits  and pre payment vary depending on the length of stay and individual situations. Deposits and payments can be paid by Pay Pal, Venmo, or personal cheque, Travelers cheques or postal money order if 30 days prior to arrival.  We do advertise on other web sites, so please read the specific web sites cancelation policy, as they differ greatly depending on the booking site. This cancelation policy listed here is for web site, e-mail, phone bookings and travel agent bookings. If you cancel your booking, deposits, and pre payments in full that are cancelled, are allocated towards a future stay.  Depending on the season you may be requested to pay in full 30 days prior to arrival.

• COVID change:  Due to the extensive cleaning procedures now to ensure your safety and those around you, we now have a standard one time cleaning fee of $ 150.00 per room stay. We may at any time require additional cleaning deposits depending on circumstances, but you would be notified. We have a sanitary station located in the entry way and guests are required to hand sanitize prior to entry. Identification upon arrival to verify where you reside, and changes with COVID regulations will be updated here and on the Hawaii web site https://www.kauai.gov/covid-19, as new laws are implemented and changed daily.  We have changed up the room situation to keep in COVID compliance of the Kauai tier system, feel free to call us to go over the changes This is a new world way we are living in now and doing our very best to get through it together safe and healthy:).  We look forward to hosting you!!

• If it is your anniversary, honeymoon, proposal or wedding! (yes we have all you need to assist you with your wedding in paradise!) be sure to notify us:).

• Check in time is 4 pm. We arrange our schedules to be here at 4pm to check you in, and show you around our property, if you flight is later, be sure and let us know so we can set up another check in time.  Occasionally we may have a late turn over and if your check is delayed we will give you notice.

• Check out is by 10am.

• We will also store your bags if you have a late departure: ).

• This is our home, not a hotel so we do request if additional guests are to be stopping by that we are asked for the comfort of our other guests and our family, specially now with COVID.  We reserve the right to deny requests if we feel it may inconvenience, or disturb our other guests or family.  Mahalo for your understanding.​

•  Again, if you are wanting to check in prior to 3pm, please request via e-mail or phone.  This is important as we don't want you to be waiting at the property if we are out on errands:)

• Secret Falls Retreat is a smoke-free environment. Ash trays are provided for smoking out doors in areas so as to not disturb neighbors and other guests.

• There is a barbecue grill and multiple seating areas on the upper and lower deck available for guest use.

• The rooms contain a sheet with additional information,  Wi Fi codes, along with some  other things that will make your stay more enjoyable.

• There is an exam the  first morning....Just kidding! lol   We do like to have fun! You are now on da island! NO paperwork allowed: )

• We are environmentally friendly, organic, sustainable, non GMO when at all possible, recycle, do not use pesticides or herbicides and try to live as chemical free as possible. If you have specific allergies or sensitivities, please notify us prior to arrival.

• Secret Falls Retreat is LGBT friendly: )

• We do our best to assist you in any way possible.   We all work hard cleaning the rooms, pool, jacuzzi, grounds and maintaining the property for your enjoyment, please respect the work we put into the grounds and that their are other guests enjoying the property also. Please keep your clothes and towels on your rack and not over the seating areas to dry:).

• We do not accept responsibility for booking on websites not affiliated with us.  There are presently some scam sites representing themselves as booking sites for Secret Fall Retreat.  If you are making an online booking without talking to us, please ensure that your booking is done through one of our affiliates(Air BNB, Booking.com) or through our online booking site at https://secretfallsretreat.checkfront.com. (this is turned off at the moment, please call, text or e-mail to book as we like to visit with our guests prior to booking to ensure they have the right room and our accommodations are perfect for you:)
